Stark Map is installed from an APK, not Google Play. Download it to Arkenstone or another ARM64 Android phone and open starkmap.apk in Downloads.

On Android 12 and later, you can also pinch to resize the window. Android sets the maximum size. To zoom the map itself, tap the mini-window and use “+” or “−”. The scale in metres is shown at the bottom.
Your route and live trail
Your live trail is bright cyan. Imported tracks receive persistent colors: red, purple, green and others. The selected track appears above the others without getting thicker; arrows show its direction. The automatic palette has eight colors, so colors may repeat when many tracks are loaded.
Record your ride
The red dot on a neutral button starts recording. While recording, it becomes a pale-red button with a square: tap it to save the current track, clear the trail and continue, or stop without saving. The mini-map shows only a recording dot; a message appears if GPS is lost.
Map or just the track
The layers button at the top left lets you choose the map, a black background or a white one. Contour lines can also appear on a plain background where available for the downloaded region. This version does not include a satellite layer.
